Hello fellow BSSC members! 
My name is Cameron Good and Mike Cray has placed me in charge of organizing a team to run in the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  Last year we had over 45 runners join us and were able to raise nearly $7,000 for breast cancer research.  This year we are hoping to break the $10,000 mark!  This year the race is rcheduled for Sunday, October 19^th in Hunt Valley.  I realize it is a long way off, but we want to start recruiting early.  Last year the race was a little chaotic due to parking and traffic, but don't worry, they have made drastic changes to prevent that from happening again!
The race is for both men and women of all ages and we encourage everyone to participate.  Men, this is a wonderful opportunity to show your care and support for breasts everywhere!  To show his appreciation, Mike has generously agreed to provide custom BSSC running shirts for everyone that signs up under our team.  Last year they were a big hit at the Race and helped us to identify fellow runners.  In fact, you can check out the pictures from last year's race in the photos section of the BSSC web page! 

Here's what you do to sign up: 
First go the following URL (http://2008rftc.kintera.org) and click on "Register Here."  From there you will "agree" to the photo waiver and then select "Join A Team."  From the list provided, select "BSSC for Boobies" and fill in all of your personal info.  When you come down to payment, select the "Team Registration Mail."  If you have friends or family who would like to pledge money to the Komen Foundation under your name, they can easily do so.  Just direct them to the home page listed above and have them select "Sponsor Participant."  Next they just enter your name and can pledge whatever amount they wish.  The pledge shows up under your name on our team page, so you will be credited for bringing in the money.
